North Penn Knights Boys Wrestling Handbook

NPHS Boys Wrestling Policies/Handbook School Rules - All School Rules Apply: athletic-academic eligibility, drug and alcohol policy, harassment etc. (see student handbook). - If it is in the handbook it applies to this team and may have consequences that will affect athletic eligibility. These are administrative rules. - If school rules are broken, the student-athlete will lose wrestling time and/or be removed from the team. Sportsmanship - All student-athletes and wrestling supporters are expected to maintain a positive attitude and display good sportsmanship at all times. Poor sportsmanship and attitudes detrimental to NP wrestling will not be tolerated. - Any NP wrestler or manager that doesn’t show proper sportsmanship and attitude during practice, competition, travel, overnight stay, etc. will have consequences for their actions.   New parent NP Wrestling Information and FAQ’s Coaching There are separate coaches and schedules for the Boys and Girls Teams. The Booster Club supports them both. Boys Head Coach: James Swiggard Assistants: TBD Girls Head Coach:   Rich O’Niell Assistants: Thomas Michaels, Tim Hart The Board President-  Heather Hart Vice President- Jill Maxwell Treasurer- Erin Gnas Secretary- Stephanie Marjoram At Large- Mike Chapman The Booster Club The function of the Booster Club is to support the Coaching Staff, Parents/families and Wrestlers.   The Board vote on how to spend the funds and organizes and runs fundraising efforts. All of which include paying for coaching not paid for by the school district, providing refreshments for the teams on travel days, travel expenses, tournament entry fees, sending eligible wrestlers from the program to the TNT Wrestling Camp at Kutztown University during the summer.
