North Penn Knights Wrestling Club – Board Meeting Notes

The 2025–2026 season board was originally set to expire on March 31. All members were asked to remain in their roles for an additional month to allow time for discussion and coordination regarding the separation of the boards, as both the boys’ and girls’ teams were determined to have sufficient representation.
The new expiration date for the current North Penn Knights Wrestling Club board is April 30, 2026.
Moving forward, to ensure officer continuity, the girls’ program will retain and rename the existing board and banking account, and will update the current bylaws accordingly. The boys’ program will establish a new board under the leadership of Coach Swiggard.
Board Decision: Program Split
Coach Swiggard motioned on April 11, 2026, to split the boys and girls wrestling boards.
Some board members expressed concerns about whether this structure best supports all North Penn wrestlers.
The motion passed 5–1 in favor.
The board will proceed with the split as directed.
Equipment formerly purchased for the program by the North Penn Knights Wrestling Club will remain shared by the program, both the boys and girls teams.
Supplies for fundraising and events owned by the North Penn Knights Wrestling Club remaining from the prior season will be divided between the boards when they are formed.
