North Penn SD Very First ALL GIRLS Middle School Dual

Wednesday January 15, 2025, our Middle School Girls Wrestling Team made a little bit of NP Athletics History. 


      Our team of 7th and 8th grade wrestlers traveled to Pottstown High School for their first ever team dual, not of the season but ever, in the history of the sport here at North Penn. Final Score, North Penn 36, Pottstown 12. The afternoon included both PIAA sanctioned matches and exhibition matches, special recognition goes to Pennbrook wrestler Bridget Hollister, Penndale wrestlers Quinn Hart, Emily Thomas, Juliana Maldonado, Jess Park, and Pennfield wrestlers Peyton Cassel, and Haven Jorgensen for impressive wins all by pin! 

      Let's give these ladies and the program some well deserved praise. Our middle school team is comprised of girls from all three middle schools, Penndale, Pennbrook and Pennfield. They practice along side our NP High School Girls team and coaching staff. Head Coach: Rich O'Neill, Assistant Coaches: Thomas Michaels and Tim Hart

      Girls Wrestling is the fastest growing high school sport in the country. This event starts with the youngsters and ends with both JV and Varsity boys HS teams.
